Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1 - Combos That Are Easy to Use
Car seat buggy 2 in 1 blends two of the most important pieces of baby gear including the infant car seat and the stroller. It makes getting off and on public transport (and walking up and down steps) much more convenient.
One of the most effective options is the Doona infant car seat and stroller combo. It's the first integrated travel system that allows you to switch between the car seat and stroller in a matter of seconds without disturbing your sleepy baby.
Simple to use
Parents should have a stroller and car seat combination that is simple to use. These travel systems let you easily switch between running errands walking your dog and going for an exercise. They also assist you in keeping up with your little one's changing needs, so that you can focus on enjoying your family adventures. Our testers are impressed by how easily and smoothly these travel systems glide, regardless of whether they have a single front wheel or a swiveling front wheel. The Thule Urban Glide 2 Combo and the BOB Alterrain Pro combo, and the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo are easy to move. However, the BOB Revolutionflex 3.0 Combo and Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo can be moved by one hand.
Some models are difficult to attach or remove from the base, however. The Doona Combo requires a two step process of attachment, and straps which cover the bottom of the infant carrier. It's tempting to skip these steps, but it could lead to dangerous outcomes.
Certain models are also more difficult to fold or store than others, making them less practical. Graco FastAction 3 in 1 Car Seat Stroller is difficult to fold due to its huge dimensions and bulky frames. It also has a small canopy that some test users find disappointing. However, the Britax Parkway Click and Go Combo is simple to fold with just the pull of an lever and the push of a button. It is also a good choice for parents who intend on using their car seat on other vehicles as it is able to be easily removed from the base and then attached to any stroller that is standard.
Easy to Fold
It should be simple to fold and unfold the car seat, whether you're storing it in your trunk, or in a closet. The most efficient combinations we've tried fold easily in one hand and are durable enough to use on long walks. They're also simple to move, sliding smoothly over uneven surfaces and bumps. We've seen some combinations that can only be attached or detached using straps, which could be a hassle and make it difficult for parents to ensure that the car seat is secured properly.
2 in 1 prams love the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo due to its practical features and sturdy construction which include a large storage basket that's accessible from the front to the back. SafeCenter LATCH, an exclusive feature of the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo allows you to install car seats by connecting the lower anchors and pulling the straps tightly.
It's also fairly light, making it an excellent option for families or frequent travellers with multiple vehicles. Both the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo, and the Thule Urban Glide 2 scored very well in our ease of use tests. Both feature one front wheel that is easy to push (one-handed! Both have one front wheel that is easy to push (one-handed!). They also have a movable swivel wheel, perfect for shopping and running errands. The only downside is that they're very heavy and therefore it can be difficult to lift them up when you're carrying children in the car seat.
Easy to Assemble

Some stroller and car seat combos can be difficult to assemble. We found that the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo was one of the most simple to build, and it even comes with a quick-start guide that makes putting this system together a breeze. Other models, including the UPPAbaby Minu and UPPAbaby Vista V2 Thule urban Glide 2 and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal were also fairly easy to assemble. Contrary to that, the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo is difficult to put together as it requires two steps: attaching the lower anchors, and using straps that go over the bottom of the carrier. It's also heavy, and it requires two hands to snap the carrier into the base and detach it from there.
In our tests it took us around 5 minutes to put the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 together, which is quite fast when you consider the time it can save by not having to remove all of the individual pieces. The toddler seat can be attached and removed with ease on most of these models.
